Any idea how much a child from London (any terminal) to a station in Portsmouth would cost??

Assuming you want to come back the same day there are some cheap day returns available from Victoria for £9.45 and £12.05. Otherwise a cheap day from Waterloo of Victoria is £12.80, a saver return which allows you to return another day £15.15 (from both stations). (All to Portsmouth Harbour).
