I would like to know if i can get a train from the Ciampino Airport to Carsoli? I did write a similar question asking about a train from the other Rome Airport. But as I might have to fly to the Ciampino airport instead I would like to know if i can still get to Carsoli train station.

Thank you for anyone that answers this question!

  1. There are no direct trains from the Ciampino train station to Carsoli. You would need to take the train to Roma Termini Station, catch a train or the metro to Roma Tiburtina station and then another train to Carsoli. You also have a short bus ride from the terminal at the airport to the train station in Ciampino.

An alternative is to take the shuttle bus from the airport to the metro station Anagnina, but that's on the A line of the metro and Tiburtina is a B line stop so you would still have to transfer at Roma Termini to Tiburtina.

The schedules for the bus from the airport to either the metro or the train station are here: http://cotralspa.it/colleg_anagnina.asp

The train schedules and fares can be determined at: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html

You could also get a cab to Tiburtina.

  2. Maybe you don't know but Ciampino is an airport very very small. Very few fly get there in a day. I think you have to get a taxi from Ciampino to Stazione Termini and then get a train to Carsoli or a coach.
