Train prices ?

Right.. i wanna get train to somewhere.

But I've never been on train before, so i need help, how much would it be to travel from Sheffield to Manchester for a 16 year old ?

It depends on the day and the time of day, but here are some rough prices:

For Tuesday at 11:11 it's £4 for a single or £14.30 for a cheap day return

For Saturday at 9:11 it's £6.50 single or £14.30 for a cheap day return.

Either way, it's cheaper to buy two single tickets

The trains just now are really expensive, but whatever you do don't use trainline.com they rip you off and most of the time cant find services when I know that there are trains running. You could try National Rail Enquiries instead.
