Train station near lightwater valley!!??

Question

I am planning to go to Lightwater Valley and am going on the bus in the morning and planning to come back on the train but I can't find out the name of one near it!! If anyone does know the name do you know if it is far away from it?? Thanks a lot of details will be appreciated lol

Ripon is the nearest large town to LWV, not sure if it has a train station though. You would still have to get a bus from Ripon as it is too far to walk.

The nearest stations are actually Harrogate and Thirsk - choose depending on where your going to! They both interconnect with York from where you can get most places easily by rail..

Masham & Ripon are the nearest towns, so you could look them up & see if there are stations there.

PS I used to love taking my kids to Lightwater Valley.  I live in the South now so it's too far away (& the "kids" are now 30 & 27!)

Lightwater Valley is in Ripon so I would think it is the Ripon train station that you will need......not sure where it is but maybe you could ring the station.......Im sure they will help....Have a nice day...
