  1. Have a look at this site which is that for Nexus, the organisation that runs transport - buses and metro - within Tyne and Wear. There is a travel planner. http://www.nexus.org.uk/wps/wcm/connect/...

  2. I have seen the wet n wild buildings when arriving with the ferry from the Netherlands. So I was curious enough to check the travel info.

advices you to travel to Meadow Well Metro Station and walk from there. They say it is a 14 minute walk, and having walked it once from the ferry terminal I say that it is right. Should be a fairly easy walk, if long.

In the advanced search options you can set the maximum walking time for the travel, but even when I set the time to only 5 minutes walking they can not find a bus to the park.

I know there is a bus service from the ferry terminal to the station in Newcastle, but that only connects to the ferries and will likely be no use to you, but you can try to contact the water park or the ferry terminal to find more info.

An other option would be to arrange for a taxi to meet you at the metro station.
