Trainer Michael Bell hoping Margot Did will find her lost glory in the King's Stand Stakes
Michael Bell trained, Margot Did, is expected to make a comeback in the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot on 19th
June, 2012, where she will race over a course of five furlongs.
The daughter of Exceed And Excel, out of mare Special Dancer, previously captured a massive victory in the Group 1 Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York on 19th August, 2011, where she was paired with jockey, Hayley Turner.
Under the talented rider’s command, the bay filly shone on the track and defeated Tim Easterby’s charge, Hamish McGonagall, by a narrow margin of ¾ of a length, whereas Prohibit finished in third place.
The four-year-old lost her fervour after this race, and failed to deliver in the four races that followed after.
The trainer is hoping that she will be able to regain her composure and rekindle the winning flame.

He does not have any explanation, as to why she has lost form after performing so well, but is hoping she will be bring her best game forth in this event, since her work-outs showed potential.
The trainer told the press: "She's on course for the King's Stand. She's not really shown her form since winning the Nunthorpe last year but she appears to be in good form at the moment."
The T. Redman and P. Philipps owned runner competed in three starts in this reason, and none of them were encouraging.

Her performance in her seasonal debut, the Meydan Sprint Sponsored By Emirates Sky Cargo, at Meydan could have been better because she finished in eighth place in a line-up of fifteen runners.
Margot Did also competed in the Group 3 Pearl Bloodstock Palace House Stakes at Newmarket on 5th May, 2012, but could not pick up the pace and consequently completed the order of finish.
The mega-event at Ascot might prove to be lucky for the young runner, and she might be able to redeem herself after a bad spell, but she will have to work more diligently.

The bright side is that she has done it before and it’s just a matter of time before she claims another massive victory.
