Trainer of Black Caviar “desperate” to see him in Ascot meeting – Horse Racing Update
According to the reports and statistics, the most dominant of the sprinters at this point in time in the world of horse racing is the Australian trained champion Black Caviar. It has been reported that the trainer of the Australian sprinter is more than
enthusiastic to saddle this ultimate champion in the Ascot meeting of the next racing season.
Nonetheless, he was also reported as saying that it was about time that the best and most talented race-horses who are trained in the Europe be made part of the racing campaigns that go on in the southern part of the world.
Black Caviar claimed her fourth victory of the Group 1 events that was part of the Australian racing campaign. This event was flaunted as the William Reid Stakes and took place at the Moone Valley race-course on Friday. As for this year, the champion race-horse
has been ruled out of the Ascot meeting. However, the 2012 Ascot meeting will be featuring the best sprinter of the world and thus making it worthwhile for her fans and followers.
When her trainer Peter Moody was approached by the correspondents, inquiring about development and further plans of the race-horse, he was reported as saying, “We’ve got such a great product and we want to showcase her on the best stage.”
He further went on to say, “I have been to Ascot twice and been beaten (with sprinter Magnus in 2007 and 2008, whose best effort was third in the 2007 King’s Stand Stakes) so I have clearly got juices flowing through my body. I want to get back there and
win and this is the horse that can definitely do it. I’m desperate to take her there.”
The enthusiastic trainer was also of the view that it was too soon for him to saddle Black Caviar in the Ascot meeting and it was a better idea if he sent her out to contend this race when she is fully matured as a five-year old race-horse. He is confident
that she will land the 2012 Ascot meeting for him.
