Training bras....8th grade?

im going to 8th grade in a few days and i just started wearing training bras. when i went shopping i told my mom i needed bras and she got me training bras. im a size 36a. she wont let me wear cupped bras because she says they are for older women and they have underwires and show cleavage. should i be able to wear cupped bras?

i am a 36a and i have been wearing cupped bra's since 7th grade. i am in 8th grade too. i wore training bras in 5th and 6th. but since i have small b***s my mom tod me i could wear a padded bra to make them look "better". i think you should be able to wear cupped bra's and they make them for girls as little as a 30aa in the girls section so its not like those r for older women

tell her that when you do pe in school the training bras ride up and embarrass you and when you go to (pick a class) the teacher has the room so cold you get itty bitty titty erections and all of the boys stare.

Well, I started wearing cup bras at the end of 7th grade, I think, not that I really needed them. (I barely need them now) But your mom is only what she thinks is best. If your nipples are showing, maybe you could save money and buy your own, because that can be embarrassing. For now, if it bothers you, wear an undershirt, and a regular shirt. Keep in mind, shirts like this (http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp... with the "string", or whatever you want to call it, will make your b***s look bigger.

well, compromise: Twice a week wear a cupped bra and the rest training bra or sports bra.

i wear bras but not underwire. get non underwire bras. those also tend to not show cleavage. mine dont. and dont wear super low cut shirts, thats a part of the problem to.

Cup bras dont show clevage, what kind of shirt you wear does.

Tell your mom you need one and that girls your cup size wear them.

Tell her that you will be changing for PE and you rather not be made fun of because you wear a training bra like a small child.

I've been wearing a training bra since 4th grade not that I desperately needed it. I've only had 1 cupped bra and I hated that thing with passion. The underwire poked me and it was uncomfortable. I took it off during the middle of class...Ha. Ha. Good thing it was only 4th grade. After that I never got another cupped bra. And now I don't need one. Only if you're comfortable with them. I hate them because they are uncomfortable to me.

that sucks i hate training bra's so i wear cup bra's the wired thing is my mom is pretty much the same way i had to go school shopping with my dad so i could get cup bra's lol but ya u should be able to wear what ever kind of bra u want

I've been wearing bras since 5th grade; in my opinion, you should have started wearing them a few years ago. I def. think you should be allowed to wear cupped bras. Don't your friends wear them yet?

oh my god. wow. your mom is weird. training bras wouldnt do squat for me now... they arent for older women, there for ladies who have b*****s, and unless you want them to be saggy, i suggest some support....

oh, i started training bra in fourth, and regular before sixth... and im in tenth grade now...

I have been wearing a bra since i was in fifth grade.  And i have been wearing cupped bras since seventh grade.  My mom didn't like me wearing them but I still did.  She got used to it and now she deals with it.  Next time you are with her ask her if you can go buy a bra.  You could get the cupped ones without a wire.  She might be okay with that.  Good luck!
