I've always been interested in playing volleyball! But every league/club that I've found were for 18 and younger and I'm 19 so I can't join! Where and how can I get some training so I can become a better player and maybe make it to the 2012 olympics????

  1. You can go to usavolleyball.org, then the WannaPlay link, then the USA Volleyball regions link, then the RVA link, and then click on the part of the map where you live.  (Or you can use the link below.)

Once you get on the region where you live, you should check out the adult team section.  You are correct.  You are too old to join a juniors team unless you are still in high school.  They make an exception in some cases.

If you can not find a listing of teams in your area, see if you can find a listing of the board of directors.  See if they have an adult player rep or an area rep.  I am the area rep for the greater Houston area if you live in Houston.

  2. Hey same question over here but for beach volleyball...any advice would be great!
