  3. I am 49 years old and puggie. I just started training for a half marathon, (started in April on my birthday), the marathon is in Oct. I have never ran before. My ankles hurt, my knees,hips,back,shoulders and neck hurt.  I never had so much fun in my life, I love everything about running. I read everything I can get my hands on, and talk to people at work who have been running to make sure the information I get is reliable. My family thinks I'm nuts and sometimes I have to sneak off to run. It's worth every ache. I plan to run a full marathon on my 50th birthday. Go me!!!!!
