I watched a marathon this weekend and I was so inspired that next year I want to run a Marathon relay with 3 friends. The distance is between 6 and 6.75 miles. I used to be in XC, but I wasn't very good. Now I don't run at all. I bike and rollerblade a lot though.When should I start training for this race (May 2009)? I want to be decent (an hour or less). How do I go about getting in shape again?I am scared!Thanks
