Training for triathilon?

how can i get in shape for a triathilon? i have 2 months my family is doing a relay, i'm doing the 800 yrd. wimming leg any good excercises or food?

  1. swim as much as you can! work on your cardio because 800yrds is a LONG WAY to swim!!! make sure you work on technique and run a mile or to a day to work on your breathing. also try practicing breathing techniques to see what works best when you are swimmin (e.g.two strokes then breath or breath after every stroke) but most of all make sure you are in very good shape so run every otha day and swim as much as you can. good luck!!!
