Training horses!?

Question

I've always been wanting to train a horse. When I get older, and I am able to work, I would love to board a horse- but train it myself from birth. Where would be a good place/who should I talk to to get into horse training? Thanks!

Mabey 4-H do you take riding lessons? If you do mabey ur riding instructor. She/He could guide and teach you how to train a horse. There are also many books that will help.

There are schools all over the US and some in the UK. I guess it depends on what kind of training you want to do. Google "equestrian schools" . I was looking into becoming a equine massage therapist, there are several schools for that, some in Florida, Colorado, Virginia. But I kinda had to put that on hold...so I can't remember any of the names...but try Googling then start contacting schools, barns, clubs, etc. You will find someone that will inform you.
