Training schedule?

i'm training for cross country during the summer

would it be ok to run in the morning and then cross training at night. is it too much?

any tips to cut my time down?

  2. If you're an experienced runner and fit, then that should be fine, though I can't really tell not knowing age, how long you've been doing this...

  3. run early moring when the heat is low and cross train in evening when heat is low .  Stay out of the heat.  So evening not night.  Sleep is improtant too.
