Question:

Training to be a teacher - Uni/A Levels/etc. Training and costs? Help available?

I want to train to be a teacher (primary) in English. I didn't study A levels, I did an ANC (equivalent to NVQ Level 3) in horses. I did well in my GCSEs and have always been academic. Could anyone advise me of the best route to take? The thing is I have a house and can't really afford not to work so I would need to study part time if this is possible. How long would it take? How much would it cost? Are there grants available? Sorry to sound like I don't know anything! It's just I didn't consider higher education when I left school (which wasn't very long ago). Thanks for any help.
