  1. Well, since the globe is not warming, there is no need to identify traits that are necessary to help plants/animals survive.

  2. plants and animals that currently exist is the most diverse environments will do best.

they're already adapted to a wide range of conditions.

  3. Man's belief in superstitions like global warming will still be with us for a very long time.

After all, how man people still remember the panic surrounding the Y2K bug?

  4. Man made global warming is not happening, if gw is happening it is a slow natural cycle. Animals and man will have plenty of time to adjust to the changing environment.

  5. Animals that can eat anything and outrun hurricanes should do well.  Other than that I cast my vote for simple fungi and green single celled organisms which can form the basis of a symbiotic ecosystem.

  6. The trait will be Who can fix the Air Conditioner when it breaks

  7. there are many ways to help global warming. one of the ways is to launch giant mirrors into our solar system so that it reflects the suns beam towards somewhere else so that the earth can cool down.

  8. Adaptability will be the most important trait should dramatic climate change occur.

Mankind will be at the head of the pack in this regard.

  9. Time is more of a factor then anything else. You have to give genetic avenues the ability to compensate. Unless they are already predisposed to diversity.
