  1. ask somebody else to try who is like you before you even THINK  of  doing a backflip.

  2. Get two strong people to stand on either side of you while you take some shallow bounces, then have them spot you and help you over on the count of three. You'll be surprised how easy they are when you learn how, they are way easier than front flips once you know how to do them. But don't just try to do it without a spotter or two, your likely to go straight onto your head or something. As far as actually doing it: where your head goes, your body follows.

Once I did it like 3 or 4 times with spotters (they weren't helping me over on the last few, just were there in case I didn't get over on my own), I felt confident enough to do it on my own, and WOW, all I can say is they are fun and super easy (once you know how). Landing them is easy because you can see the tramp as you're coming down. But, again, only attempt it on your own after you've done it enough with spotters to be confident.

Edit: And it has nothing to do with jumping backward, that's a bad habit...you should be able to land at the same spot that you started. That guy below is likely to put you in the springs or worse. Your spotters have to be bouncing with you, and on the third bounce, as long as you hit the tramp at the same time or slightly after they do, they won't steal your bounce. That's like lesson one on the tramp.

  3. Don't try to flip!! What would you rather have; a broken neck, or fun time? I wouldn't go for it because it's too risky. If you feel risky talk to someone about your problem and see what they think.

  4. put your hands/elbows in place when you first try back flip, think of it as covering your ears with your hands, elbows out, parallel with your mouth and head up, worst that could happen is will be a knee landing and then a bounce then  you will land on your back, make sure your neighbours aren't watching your debut back flip ;) Good luck and happy bouncing....:)

  5. theres only one way to find out!....just mind your ***** on the side bar

  6. lol i can do it on mince :D! First i was able to do the front flip then a few more tricks then finally the back flip. What i done was stated of like down flips to the side then started straightening them but not landing them with my head inches form the mat then i finally landed one then didn't for a while then kept on landing. Jist keep on praticing and give them a go we all make mistakes and learn from them. Once you have mastered it, show people they are really impressive.

A tip: Start off by jumping to the front of the trampoline then backwards thats how i started off, then i learned how to do them on the spot.

Edit: Dont listen to that answer above, if too strong people are standing beside you they will steal your bounce making you fall. and break your neck if the jump isnt high enough.

  7. yeah, don't do it, unless you know how to do it properly your gon end up in a hospital bed in a lot of pain.

  8. me and my friend just mastered the backflip and front flip 2 weeks ago and never broke anything....and i learned from this video..........http://youtube.com/watch?v=521NIVPIxWs
