Transfecting and Infecting Neural Stem Cells????

Please help, I'm new to a project and LOST. I need to infect NSCs I have grown with hCD34-GFP/luc. I have somehow figured out that I need to order a Phoenix EcoPack but I don't really even know what that is or what to do with it?? I know my CD34-fluc is not functional and I need a helper virus to activate it. Then I need to...somehow make a complete virus that is labeled and will infect my NSCs? And how the h**l do you Maxiprep and what all do I need to maxi? PLZ someone explain to me in plain english the steps I am missing. I.e, how do I make virus with these elements????

I think there may be something missing from your post, but it sounds like you need to make a virus that has the GFP attached to it, so that you can follow it when you transfect your cells. The Ecopack is just dishes for tissue culture. Your id doesn't allow email, but you can email me if you want.
