Transfer Calls From One Line To Another?

Question

I Have a shop and a showroom. i currently have all of my calls going to the shop. i want all of those calls to go directly to the showroom. i can probably just have that number transfered to the showroom number. now, once my secretary in the showroom says ok, this call is worth me stopping work to talk to this person, how can she transfer that call to a new number i can have at my shop. any help would be great. thanks

It depends on what type of phone system you have.  What is the model of your phone and is it truncated or switchboard?

I've been transferring calls for about ten years lol.  The most common way to do it is to press transfer, dial the number, and press transfer again.  Most phone systems use this method.
