Everton accept http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786’s bid for Steven Pienaar
It has been reported that Everton have accepted Chelsea’s offer for midfielder Steven Pienaar and rejected that of Tottenham Hotspur, as they were not offering as much as the Blues. The South African midfielder will be out of contract
at the end of this season, which is why Moyes is eager to sell the 28-year-old now, rather than let him go on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Tottenham were reportedly offering £3 million for the midfielder because of which Everton manager David Moyes refused Pienaar’s representatives to hold talks with Tottenham. Moyes said, “We have accepted an offer from Chelsea.
Steven has not agreed terms with Chelsea. We've given his representatives a chance to talk to Chelsea but they've not got permission to talk to Tottenham because they've not offered the same money.”
Fiorentina close to signing West Ham winger Valon Behrami
Media reports reveal that West Ham are on the verge of agreeing to a deal with Serie A side Fiorentina over the transfer of Valon Behrami. The deal for the 25-year-old winger could be concluded in the next 24 hours if an agreement
is reached between the two sides.
Behrami arrived at West Ham from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 in 2008 for a fee of €6.3 million and he has scored twice in two games for the Hammers. However, because of his inconsistency he has been linked with a move away from Upton Park for a while
now, with sides like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 and Juventus all showing interest in the player.
The Hammers were demanding €5 million for the Swiss international, while representatives of Fiorentina insisted they were only willing to pay €3.5 million. This disagreement over the transfer fee stalled the deal, but a compromise
is expected soon that will see the player on his way to the Serie A.
Ruud van Nistelrooy to stay at Hamburg
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bastian-Reinhardt-c7373 said, “We will not let him leave.
He will see out the end of his contract, the decision is final.”
Meanwhile, Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has revealed his interest in the Dutchman, saying he would want him to return to Madrid. Now, Mourinho is on the lookout for a striker having lost Gonzalo Higuain for the rest of the season
with an injury.
As expected, Nistelrooy admitted he would prefer a move to Real Madrid, saying the club was very special to him. He said, “It has been a strange week. It is not just any club which have expressed interest, it is Real. They are
the only club which can make me change my mind.”
However, at this stage in the season Nistelrooy is essential for the Bundesliga outfit, which is why they are not willing to let the striker go. He also scored the winning goal in the weekend fixture against Schalke to give Hamburg
a much needed win. With that being said, Mourinho may have to look elsewhere for a striker to replace Higuain.
