Transfer News: Yassine El Ghanassy to sign with Manchester City
The latest prodigy in footballing world is the Belgian 20-year-old forward, Yassine El Ghanassy from Gent and as soon as the world got to know about him, rich English outfit Manchester City has already presented a bid for the youngster.
The Moroccan born winger Ghanassy just recently informed of him joining the Blue part of Manchester, an act which many footballing experts consider to be heinous in nature.
Some say Manchester City is ridiculously wealthy, and that is the reason why their pool is full of money. Just because of this they have been placing bids on nearly all good players, ever since their new owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan took over Eastlands.
This act has deeply disturbed the balance of transfer market. Hence, players like Andy Carroll are being sold at 35 million Pounds, while http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 went for 50 million Pounds.
Just recently Manchester City signed in Edin Dzeko from the Bundesliga club, Wolfsburg. The player was the highest goal scorer in the German League and easily considered to be the best.
It was a personal decision of Dzeko to join the City, just like Ghanassy stating his desire to join the Light Blues. This certainly shows that a change in trend is emerging from within the English Premier League and Manchester City.
The prodigal player though mainly features on the left wing, but has also the ability to play on the right, so his potential value has risen up by a few scales. The Belgian international has had more and more time to clock on the field, ever since http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233, which happened during the 2009 season.
Sources have revealed the Manchester City manager, Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 was on the verge of signing him but the transfer window closed and the case was postponed. It is expected the transfer saga this summer will see more of him.
While speaking to media El Ghanassy stated, “I'm not disappointed it didn't get pushed through. I think there is now an agreement with Manchester City for me to move in the summer.”
He concluded by commenting, “We will have to see if that works out. I am focused on Gent for now, but I think there is a possibility to move on.”
Experts have also presented the opinion, that El Ghanassy will be having a considerably tougher time to adopt the English Premier League hence a move here should be thought over wisely.
