Transfer RAM to video card ?

Question

i've heard you can transfer RAM to pc memory but how would i do this. are there any useful sites. thanks in advance.

Video RAM and PC RAM are different modules, usually independent of each other. Some computers use Shared memory, meaning a certain amount of the PC's ram can be dedicated to the Video device. This is usually done in increments of 32MB. (ex 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 at most) This can be done by entering the PC's BIOS settings of the computer.

Your question is a bit vague. For your first question, you can't transfer RAM to your video card, and you can't transfer RAM to computer memory, since RAM is memory. Even if you're talking about making RAM HD space, you can't do that either.

We'll physically its impossible to transfer RAM to Video card directly.

But if you have a builtin video card that has a shared memory.

you could adjust your video card memory form there.
