Transfer Rumors: July 15, 2010, Chelsea encouraged by Torres injury, but think Cole might stay

Instead of being thrown off by Torres’ injury, Chelsea have in fact been spurred on. They feel that his latest injury scare might act in their favor and could potentially see Liverpool wanting to get rid of the injury prone striker. According to the Daily Mail, 'Initial estimates of a three-week recovery period left new manager Roy Hodgson pondering whether to try to rush him back for the start of the new season or allow him time to build up his strength and fitness on the training pitch.
It is a dilemma that frequently troubled his predecessor, Rafa Benitez, yet Chelsea aim to present it as one of their main arguments for convincing crock Torres his future lies at Stamford Bridge.
While Liverpool have often restored Torres to their starting line-up at the earliest opportunity - and seen him suffer a recurrence of an old injury - Chelsea will spell out their intention of using him far more sparingly.
Apparently Chelsea have already opened talks for the Spanish forward and are estimated to be bidding around thirty five million pounds for their man.
David Silva has officially passed his medical at City and is now a member of their squad. This has made manager Roberto Mancini put Craig Bellamy up for sale. Even though Bellamy was one of Manchester City’s better players last season, Mancini feels there is no place for him in the City line up for next season. Tottenham are currently favorites to sign the Welsh international.
Robinho who has also been looking to move away from the Eastlands, might just be on his way to the San Siro. Ac Milan have parted ways with Ronaldhino and feel there is no one better then Robinho to fill his shoes.
Micah Richards has said he would not want to move away from City in the summers. The defender has been a long term target for, Tottenham and Liverpool but Mancini has claimed that Richards is a key part of his plans for the coming season.
Manchester City are ready to switch their attention from James Milner to Mikel Arteta. The Daily Telegraph said, 'Though there has been no contact between Everton and City over the Spanish playmaker, who has returned from the pre-season tour of Australia to marry in his homeland, the Goodison Park hierarchy believe Arteta's head may be turned by the prospect of joining countryman David Silva at the world's richest club.'
In order for a Transfer to happen Arteta will have to put in a formal request for a transfer, if that happens then there is no denying the fact that the Spanish midfielder could be on his way to the Eastlands.
Chelsea are confident that Ashley Cole will be staying at Stanford Bridge next season, Carlo Ancelotti has already informed the player that he is a key part of his plans for the coming season.
Manchester United have reignited their interest in Bayern Munich fullback Phillip Lahm. Bayern are currently looking to sign Gregory van der Wiel to replace Lahm, but will be looking for a player plus cash deal for the player, the player that Bayern Munich have in mind to complete the deal is, United’s midfielder Ji-Sung Park.
