Transfer and Upgrade my 250 HD to a 350 HD ?

Am trying to transfer my files from an old 250HD to a new and bigger 350HD, only i keep reading from forums to use Ghost, Must i use some form of software to do this? Is there another way to transfer files without having to use any software? Also, can someone type out the steps to transferring files from one HD to another? PLEASE !! Thank u

why don't you just ADD the 350gb hard drive so you have both and ultimately 600gb of hard drive space to work with.

No you do not need any special software, connect both driver move the data over disconnect the old drive, done..
