Transfer credits/diploma to the UK?

Question

I am currently enrolled at Humber College (Toronto, ON) studying towards a Business Admin diploma, with 3 (including current) semesters to go.

I wish to continue studying towards a BA in London, UK; however, if I am unable to get credit for studies already accomplished, I will not proceed, since I don't wish to start all over again.

Where can I find information as to the transferability of credits or the diploma itself as a whole into the UK educational system?

Most cites (including British Council) give very vague information on this topic, too broad and general to be of any use.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
