Transfer my music to my Motorola Q as a ringtone...

Question

I have a song I want to use as my primary ringtone. I have a cable that came with the phone so I can Sync. I do not have a mini SD card yet. I am unable to Sync and I can not figure out how to get the song over to my phone as a ringtone from my computer. I do not have texting. Any ideas?
