What is the quickest & easiest method to transfer slide photos onto the computer

If you have hundreds then buy a slide scanner (some for sale here:

If you have a dozen then take them to a professional. Search for 'slide transfer' and many options come up. A professional film industry place may do a better job. Perhaps best to ask them what they will use.

Alternatively, you could project the slide onto a wall or, better still, a luminescent screen and take a digital photograph of it. That is essentially doing the same thing that a scanner does...

Sam's club and Costco will do it for pennies per slide.  You can buy a scanner too, but it is VERY time consuming.  You have to put each slide in, start the scan, save the file, put the slide away and start over for each slide.
