  1. thats immposible

  2. only thing i could think of is if you buy a dual dvd recorder vhs player you could burn vhs to dvd like that but i know dvd recorders are expensive £200 ish some up to 400

  3. Your going to have to have some type of Video Capture Card.  It will be able to take a VCR Analog In and then using some form of software that USUALLY comes with a capture card, will change it into a format of your choosing!  Make sure the quality is what you want it to be!

  4. Your computer should have a I394 Firewire in, then you will need to get a Video Capture Card (I go for the Multisystem NTSC and PAL one because of compatibility) which connects to the Firewire socket in your computer. You may also get a PCMCIA or a USB version of these Video Capture Device.

  5. you need a video in, or a tuner card... and laptops usually do not have these

Best thing to do is buy regular DVD burners for an entertainment system with a televion, record the tape to DVD, then rip it to your computer.

Or buy / download it online
