Transfer video from camera to pc?

Question

I know how to do pictures obviously but today a took a video of me and my friends messing around and they really want me to put it on YouTube. I plugged my camera into the pc through usb like I normally do but it wont work with video. I have a digital camera that records but not an actual camcorder. I tried it manually through WMM but it said it couldnt find video device. Please Help.

Take the memory card out of the camcorder and use a card reader to copy the video to your computer.
