Transfering from community college in US to British University.?

Question

Does anyone have any experience transfering from college in the US to Britain? I would really appreciate it if I could get some information on how to go about doing this. My school is no help and they do not do overseas transfers.

My best friend went to a university in Leeds and said that it was incredible how different classes were. He studied English.

Noted that there is a much greater relationship between the teachers and students. The work is much harder there with more than double the reading.
