Transfering music from ipod to computer

how do I transfer my music from my ipod onto my itunes on my new computer? and how do you find a hidden folder?

hi, in ipod folder (in PC) u go to tools then folder options and finally view and unmark "hide protected files" and "hide extensions" then enter ok, u will see some hidden folders look for your songs there

don't think that you can add tunes from your ipod - unless they are stored in 'disk mode'

you need the file (mp3 or whatever). find someone who has it, put on pen drive, and add to your pc that way!

You should try a program by Tansee call "IPOD Transfer", http://www.tansee.com/. It runs about $20.00 at the site, but there is also a free trial download there that should serve your purpose. Hope that helps. you can also just google "transfer music from ipod to computer". that will give you several options.  Hidden folders, that's a little complicated not knowing  your level of computing.

Because iTunes prevent you from copying iPod files to PC, you need special software to backup your iPod files to PC. I have been using tansee to copy iPod files to PC for a long time, it works really nice for me, you may download it for a try, here is a step by step guide about it

depends. if you have a mac, then you can download a program called Senuti (itunes spelled backwards), and that should do exactly what you're looking for.

if you have a PC, i'm sorry, i don't know of any way

plug it in. in your itunes go to file and look for transfer purchases from ipod
