Transfering music from my computer to my Blackberry Curve?

It seems every other time I try and put music on my phone it works and then doesn't work. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Can someone give me the steps to doing this?

It is recommended to use a microSD memory card for music and pictures, etc. Once you have installed a microSD memory card in the device, use the steps ni the link below to add media files to the microSD card:
