the motherboard on my computer fried and while trying to fix my computer the IT guys accidentally erased my music. so i need to transfer my music from my ipod to my computer. thus i have two questions. 1) is there a freeware program i can use to do this and 2) is there a way for me to import songs into itunes more than one at a time... it does not want to let me import folders, so i am not looking forward to individually inputting each of my 3,000+ songs.

thank you in advance!!!

  2. There is a really good software that i use called idump

You can transfer songs from your ipod to your computer and vise versa.

Just search idump on Google and it will come up. It's a free download and its really good

  3. ok, this has happened to me many times. What I did was I went to 'My Computer' and there should b your ipod ther(acording to what you named it). You couble click it and should take you to your ipod. There should b a folder called sumfin like Music or it could b called different according to what dystem you have. You click that and it sould hav all these folders, just copy all the folders onto your computer. (the folders contain your music). and then just go Itunes and load it into your libary as usual. I hope this information helps you. good luck!
