Transferring ownership of an llc.?

What forms or how do i go about transferring ownership of an LLC, is it something i could do on legal zoom possibly..

If you're not going to use an attorney, then you must contact all the regulatory agencies to get information.  Typically for the LLC, go to the website of the Secretary of State of the state that it is registered in.  You will find all the information, forms and instruction you will need to transfer ownership.  For the business license, contact the city (sometimes county) where it was issued for instructions.  There may be other licenses or certificates that are required to run the business  to transfer as well, so contact the agencies involved.  You can also get more info from self-help books, the Nolo brand is very easy to follow.  Hope this helps.
