I am planning to transfer my pictures and some music from my old computer to my new one using a flash drive. I'm wondering if any quality of the picures or music is lost during transfer?

Thank you!!

  1. Well, in a perfect world, no quality should be lost.

Unfortunately computers and accessories are still

part of the" imperfect world" class of objects.

Transfer via flash drive if you must, but CHECK every file

after you do the transfer. And don't delete the files from the

old pc until all the transferred files  check o.k.

Just this week I transferred a file from cd to flash drive. It was

a 140 page PDF document. Guess what? ONE PAGE out

of  the whole document was corrupt when I checked the PDF

file on the flash drive, and I know that the cd file was o.k..

Just thought I'd let you know that Murphy's Law

    applies to file transfers too....

  2. No quality will be lost.
