Transferring videos to DVDs?

For Mother's Day I want to put all of my family videos on a DVD. The problem is that they are on those little video tape looking things (sorry for not being too technical!LOL!) that fit in our old camcorder. Is there a way to do this? I don't believe I have the means to do it, but I'm sure there is some place that can do this for me. Any ideas on where to go and how much it might cost?

If you still have the camcorder all you have to do is connect it to your computer and transfer all of them to your PC and burn video from there. If you need additional help you may contact me at my email. Just click my name and go to my pro and contact me. Hope this helps.
