Transfers?????

This might seem like a stupid question. Our flight is scheduled to land at 4:05 p.m. Should i book our transfer to pick us up at 5:00 p.m. I was thinking that the additional would give us enough time to claim our luggage? What do u think?

Hola.  Not a stupid question at all.  If you are coming in on one of the major carriers (alaska, united, etc) then I would allow at least 1-2 hours for processing.  What happens is sometimes (usually around 3pm) several flights land at the same time and you have to go through customs, then retrieve your luggage, then go through the security check (or stoplight as everyone calls it) then run the gauntlet of timeshare personnel, rentacar and tour operators.  By the time you get outside, lots of time has past.    

Tell the transfer when your flight arrives and the flight number and most of them will show up at the correct time.  They are all aware of the wait.
