What is the PEAK emf in a second coil when a sinusodial current of I(t)=(7.0 Amps) sin (2000t) is occuring in the first? The coils are in fixed positions and have a mutual inductance of .3 Henrys.

  1. v2 = M * di1/dt

    di1/dt = 14,000 cos(2000t)

    v2 = 0.3*14,000 = 4200 volts
