  1. I wont tell you the answers - but I can give you some helpful hints.

    To find the verb look for the action or feeling of the sentence. Verbs often follow the subject (the person or object doing the action).

    To determine whether the verb is transitive (requires an object) or intransitive (doesn't require an object) try cutting the sentence off after the verb. Does it make sense? If it does, it's likely to be intransitive because it doesn't require the object(s) that finish the sentence. If it doesn't make sense it's likely to be transitive because it does require the object(s) that finish the sentence.

    It sounds like a harder task than it is when you use technical words like identify the transitive verb, bla bla bla. It's not so bad though. :)

  2. Transitive verbs have a direct object.  Intransitive verbs reflect a state of being.
