Somehow connected with "Obiter Dicta" a judge's expression of opinion but not binding in a court of law.

  1. I don't know, sorry - but as a sort of hint, I would guess that dict is the root word for "say", so dicta is probably something said, and "aur" is the root word for hearing.  So I would start in the area of either "I heard what was said" or maybe "hearsay", something like that.
