  1. 1. 2(n+6)

If you distribute 2 to n and 6 ur answer will be 2n + 12

    2(n) + 2(6) = 2n + 12

    2. n+2 = 3+2n

  2. the answer is ..

    1. 2(n+6)

    2. 2n+3

  3. Sum is add and it indicates you have to add first

so it needs to be in parentheses: 2(n + 6)

Is means equal; more than means add the thing before "more than" to the thing after it and twice means times 2 so n + 2 = 2n + 3

Note: only the first is an expression; the second is an equation (equations have = and expressions don't)
