Can anybody help me find sources, or give me information about the intertextuality used in Brian Friels playwright Translations? Particularly - George Steiners After Babel, Homer, and Virgil?!

  1. not to sound like a jerk, but you may just have to do your own homework on this one. it's certainly not a typical tie in for any of those plays...have you read any of them? i have not read "translations" or "after babel" but neither of them are about sexuality much less intersexuality. you're going to have to do some searching. i even found a quote from friels about how "translations":"The play has to do with language and only language". babel's is about the holocaust i thought. you may have better luck with homer and virgil as far as the intersexuality goes but here are some sources for friels. good luck!
