Transparent Retainer Worn Down?

Question

My top retainer is the invisible plastic one. Bits of plastic are missing in some places and I think I am swallowing whatever is coming off.

Could this be dangerous?

Please help!

What would be more dangerous is if you inhaled it.....into your lungs..

If it is breaking down, do not wear it, and go back to the dentist and have a new one made.....

Call and do it soon, or you will be having too much movement while you are not wearing it....
