Transport For London are being too harsh?

Today i saw a little girl probably around 9 or 10 years trying to get on the bus and its supposed to be free for under 18's she was clearly under 18 had her uniform on and everything but the driver told her to get off and she had to walk like a mile home (i saw her we were jammed in traffic) i thought to myself he cud of just given her a break these ppl are being TOO harsh

  1. I know what you mean....some bus drivers get on my nerves....its like what the h**l are you gonna gain or lose???.......

Transport for children is free on condition they present the appropriate Oyster card, otherwise they have to pay but yes, he was harsh, no child should be thrown off a bus & made to walk home alone - I'm sure the bus company has a policy about children travelling alone.  I hope her parents ripped the bus company a new one.

  3. yup I know they are harsh sometimes they are just excited, They would turn off the engines of the bus till the person gets off the bus during rush hour. Which is annoying especially when people are in a rush to get to work etc. When they had introduced it I realised that most of the school children had to walk to school but now they have got their oyster card and seem happy.
