how long would it take to get from Tunbridge Wells (town near London) to Manchester by TRAIN? What is the quickest way (transport) to get there? xx

another good website is www.thetrainline.com ... the quickest way would probably be by train, the cheapest would probably be the coach, see www.nationalexpress.co.uk

The transport Direct website is OK for basic use but every time I put an entry in it tells me to walk 0.25 miles to a particular bus stop to catch a bus that stops 15 metres from my door!!
