  1. you should make it with 2 euros. 1 euro for the bus from the airport to the metro station, and 1 euro from the metro to wherever in rome. just check out the right bus at the airport, there are some private companies that are more expensive!

  2. Hi there. Cheapest is the bus, but the train is much cheaper than what we have here and very much quicker, so use that. make sure you remember to activate the ticket on the platform scaner, though, they are red hot on this and the fines are huge! Once in Rome most places are within pleasant walking range of each other, but again publice transport is cheap and efficient so what the h**l.

    Enjoy, Steve.

PS If you are sightseeing, keep your passport with you - EU citizens get cheaper entry fees, but you have to prove it.

  3. hi, I'm french but 2 week ago I  went to Rome, I arrived at ciampino airport. There is a bus from ciampino to Termini station (14 euros go and return). At termini station there are a lot of way to travel (metro = ticket at 1euros and it goes to every site that you have to see like coloseo, Bus and train) it's very easy to travel in Rome, is very well explain.

If you want more information tell me and I ask my uncle who lives in Rome.

  4. Airport Shuttle Bus.

  5. There is a shuttle bus that runs from Ciampino to Termini station but it is expensive. Get a local bus from the airport to Ciampino train station and then catch the train to Rome. Much cheaper!

  6. I am really interested in this question too. Seeing last time I was in Rome, I walked a lot!
