Transportation from Cancun airport to hotel!?

We (4) are going to Cancun next week, and our package does not include airport transportation, I am looking for inexpensive one, the distance is about 12 mils.

Call up the hotel if they have a special shuttle to take you to and from the airport.If they do ask the price and you are all set. If they don't then rent a private taxi. Make sure you don't go on a public bus because you can gurantee another half hour to get to your hotel. Call the hotel and ask them who they prefer for inexpensive private taxis. If you don't want to get a private taxi then just get a normal taxi. Anything inexpensive is perfect.

There are vans at the airport (called colectivos) that take people to the hotels.  This is probably cheapest.  As you leave the customs area, there are approved transportations represented.  Ask there.

If there are 4 of you, and you are only going 12 miles, you will be better off taking a cab - you can negotiate prices with them ahead of time, but it will be fairly cheap in any case - if you try and pre book transfers, you will probably be paying $30 or so per person.

Just get a taxi unless your destination hotel has a shuttle.  Call the hotel and ask if they do, or, if not, who do they reccommend for inexpensive transportation services.
