  1. I would recommend that you book a shuttle van before you leave home.  I just came back from Paris yesterday and used the following website to travel from CDG to my hotel in Paris and vice versa:

    http://www.airport-connection.com/

The phone operators spoke English and the drivers were very courteous, prompt, and helpful.  Bon Voyage!

  2. metro is cheap and efficient and close to the airport.

I asked at the counter for tickets (I only speak a few words of french and it was fine) and there are people around in uniforms that can help with the luggage I guess if you ask...you have to go through a turnstyle thing, but there is a place for bags to go through I think and I think there is an escalator down to the trains......I think if you ask for help they would help you!

  3. The easier for elderly people with luggage is to take a taxi.

But of course not cheap, about 60-80 euros, depends on the traffic...

The cheaper is to take metro (station St Maur or Parmentier or Republique, it depends where is exactly the hotel), change at republique and go to Gare du Nord, then take RER B to Roissy. It will costs 8,10 euros per person. But difficult to go with luggage with 2 changes and probably stairs....better to forget that.

Another good cheap idea is to take a taxi until Opera. It will be maybe 15 euros. Then there are special buses with places for luggage and they go directly to Roissy.  This bus is 8,50 euros per person and goes every 15 minutes.

The buses departure is at the corner Scribe and Auber streets. Impossible to miss them, they are called Roissybus.
