  1. Bus.

    !!!!GO UCLA!!!!!

  2. UCLA has a good vanpool network, and they do have vans from Downtown LA/Adams Park coming to campus each day and going back each evening.  You may want to look into that.  If not, then use MTA bus (see metro.net for schedules).

  3. www.mta.net is the Los Angeles bus and metro site.  Good trip planner.

  4. well you have a few ways to this you could take

any bus on figueroa (say like line 81 but any of the other routes

will work for you as well (line 42,40) (pay $1.25 (or get a day pass)

any way get your self to 5th/Grand here you can board

the Rapid 720 (show your day pass to the Rapid driver

ask the operator for a Metro-muni transfer (pay 30cents)

with the day pass) (or you pay another $1.25 +.30cents for the transfer)_

take the metro  bus to Wilshire/Westwood

then at Westwood/Lindbrook take any bus that stops

there (Santa Monica Big blue or Culver city bus into

UCLA note if you doing this on a weekend all buses

to to Akemain union  ( but a week day the Santa Monica

buses end at the UCLA Bus terminal

    on Hilgard

thats one option another option to take into downtown

pay $1.55 ask that driver for a Metro-to Muni transfer

then go say wilshire/Grand  and board

a Santa Monica line #10 (give the driver the transfer and $1.00 more for the express charge take

    this bus to Santa Monica/Bundy

then board the Santa Monica #1 (pay another 75cents

(the Santa Monica #1 will take you to UCLA

now a suggestion you could just pay $1.25 on the Figueroa

bus into downtown then Board the #10 and buy an express

day pass for $3.50 (this will enable to return downtown

again and will be valid on all Big blue buses for that day including the #10 buses)
