  1. Did ya check out the map attached to the site?

It shows that there's a train from the hotel into the middle of the city.

I think that might be your best bet.

Try translating the page to English if you don't get the Spanish.

  2. Hello, I was in Barcelona,in 1969.I rented A bicycle,and had A Great time seeing The Sights.

  3. Barcelona has one of the best Metro systems in the world.  It will take you to virtually all the major sites throughout Barcelona.  If you are in the area for several days, I highly recommend the Barcelona Card that will provide you with free access to the Metro and discounts at many attractions & resturanuts.  If your stay is brief, you are better off skipping the Barcelona Card because it will be difficult to get your money's worth out of it.

Unfortunatley your hotel is pretty far from Barcelona.  You will probably need to take a taxi to the nearest Metro station in Barcelona which will probably cost you about 30 Euros or more.  I recommend using this money to get a hotel that is closer to the public transportation in Barcelona instead.  There are alot of great and affordable hotels in the Barcelona area.

I stayed at the Fira Palace which was near Montjuic & Plaza de Espana.
